Snow Day

This was the first snow for Tess and the first real snow we've seen in Memphis for quite a while. I'd say I'd love to have had more but I'd be lying. It's pretty and all but I'm ready for Spring already. I do love the handful of pictures we managed to get. 

I can hardly wait for the day we have a fenced yard so she can play as much as she wants without having to worry about random neighbors bringing out their aggressive dog and ruining the fun.

Hobby Lobby Swag

I am obsessed with Hobby Lobby!! It is a mecca for interior design loving, craftonistas like myself. I could spend hours upon hours, and thousands of dollars in the place if time and budget allowed. I mean just look at all this amazing stuff people.

I am dying over black and gold accent pieces!

Burlap Heaven!

And...you can shop online at hobbylobby.com, which is exactly what I did last week while hiding out from the nasty winter weather. It's not my preferred method of shopping because I need to see and touch every little thing, but it was quick and easy. And I got to stay warm and cozy on my sofa.Don't forget to use a coupon code and make sure you sign up for emails.They send you weekly ads with promotions, project inspiration, and coupon codes. My package arrived all safe and sound and super quickly, considering the weather, and in my excitement I posted on IG.

The next day I had a message from the Hobby Lobby Social Media team saying they saw my photo and wait for it...

Okay, this is the most EXCITING thing to happen to me in a while people so listen up!!!

I pretty much knew exactly what I wanted to do with the picture frame. It happened to involve a couple of the items I purchased from them online, which means those other projects have been put on hold until I go shopping again, LOL!

                    Here's the finished product.

I'm really digging burlap right now and I am working on incorporating pops of it throughout the house.

I unwrapped and cut the coils into individual strands. The bow is super easy to make. It's literally three cuts of ribbon and hot glue.I'll post a quick tutorial later this week.The burlap flower comes ready to stick on. I just reinforced it with some hot glue. I can't live without my glue gun y'all.

Now I just need to decide whether or not I want to put a monogram or a photo in the frame.
